CRAFTY STUFF!

I really love to do crafty things especially sew and do paper crafts like scrapbooking and greeting cards.  But with 3 children and a full-time job I never seem to make the time to do this.  Since I work at a preschool, we were closed from Christmas through New Years, so I actually had about 10 days off!

I was determined to get some crafty stuff done.  This year one of my "resolutions" is to send out more cards, so I got to work making a few different ones.  Here is my set up in my living room/kitchen (we have an open concept).  I don't have a set area for crafting, which is another reason I don't do it much.  So I hauled all of this out of my master closet and it kind of spread out like an oozing flow of craft goodness.

I found all the makings for these cards in one of my boxes, so these were easy to whip up.  I believe the little birdie is from the "Create a Critter" cartridge.  The dots are from my embossing machine, which is fun to use.  I probably copied the layout from someone, but I don't know who to give credit to.

I tweaked this card from this blog Kwernerdesign.  It was fun to make and will fit in a business sized envelope.

 I made several more cards but didn't take pictures of them, maybe I will and use them in another post.

OH!  I almost forgot! I also bought this book to help me remember who has a birthday or anniversary coming up!  I had one a long time ago but I don't know what happened to it.  I just received it from Amazon and I can't wait to fill it up!
